Marc S. Bathgate

Managing Partner

Before co-founding Distilled Alternatives, Marc was managing partner at Hamilton Miller Investments where he worked from 2008-2020, previously as CFO and Vice President. Prior to HMI he was an analyst and investment banker at GVC Capital focusing on the technology and natural resource sectors.

A 2005 graduate of Claremont McKenna College, Marc served as student body president and earned a BA in History. He previously served on the advisory board of the Kravis Leadership Institute from 2010-2022.

Marc resides with his wife Katherine and three children in Park City, UT. He enjoys skiing, listening to podcasts, running, reading, searching out unique bottles of whiskey, and exploring his adopted home state.

Vicki Denhoffer

Partner

Prior to co-founding Distilled Alternatives, Vicki joined Hamilton Miller in 2013 as a research associate before being promoted to Vice President in 2016. Previously, she spent many years volunteering for organizations including Autism Speaks, local public schools, and running her own small business.

A 1989 graduate of Northwestern University, Vicki earned a BA in Political Science.

Vicki lives in Aurora, Colorado with her husband and four dogs, two Mini-Yorkies and two English Labs. She has two adult children and enjoys skiing and traveling with her family and friends.

 

Bill Belair

Principal

Mr. Belair joined Distilled Alternatives in January 2023 with over 18 years of financial services experience. Mr. Belair started his career in the mortgage division of Wells Fargo Bank in San Diego, CA.

After moving to New York City, he spent the next six years at Deutsche Bank underwriting and originating mortgage and structured loans for the high-net-worth clients of Deutsche Bank’s Private Bank.

In 2012, Mr. Belair transitioned to institutional fixed income brokering where he specialized in distressed and high yield bonds, first with Tradition Securities followed by BGC Partners, a subsidiary of Cantor Fitzgerald.

A 2005 graduate of Brandeis University, Mr. Belair was a four-year letter winner on the Baseball team and earned a dual BA in Economics and Philosophy.
